TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ceedr, including our website at https://www.useceedr.com and all related tools and features (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. WHO CAN USE CEEDR

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Services. By using Ceedr, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide to us is accurate.

2. WHAT CEEDR DOES

Ceedr provides AI-powered career tools, including:

  • Scoring a CV against a job description (ATS scoring), including identifying missing keywords, structural issues, and weak bullet points
  • Rewriting or generating a resume tailored to a specific role
  • Generating a cover letter tailored to a specific role
  • Tracking job applications you have made

We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some features are available on our Free tier; others require an active paid plan or a completed referral unlock, as described in our Pricing page.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

To use most features, you need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential and secure
  • All activity that happens under your account
  • Providing accurate information when you register

Let us know immediately at contact@useceedr.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. One account is intended per person; please don't create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or the referral program.

4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS & BILLING

Ceedr offers a Free tier and paid Weekly and Monthly plans, priced as shown on our Pricing page at the time of purchase. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the applicable fee on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Billing, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: we do not offer refunds once a payment has been processed, and any free access period offered before your first charge is not a refund — cancelling before that period ends means you are simply never charged.

5. REFERRAL PROGRAM

We may allow users to unlock a full ATS report for free by referring a set number of other people to sign up for Ceedr. The referral program is offered at our discretion, and we may change its terms, or suspend it, at any time.

You agree not to create fake accounts, use bots, or otherwise attempt to manufacture referrals that do not represent genuine new users. We may reverse an unlock or suspend an account if we reasonably believe the referral program has been abused.

6. YOUR CONTENT

When you upload or paste a CV, resume, cover letter, job description, or other content into Ceedr ("Your Content"), you retain all ownership rights to it. By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit it — including to third-party AI providers — solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you, as described in our Privacy Notice.

You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain content you are not permitted to share (for example, another person's personal information submitted without their consent).

7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT — PLEASE READ

Ceedr's scores, keyword analyses, resume rewrites, and cover letters are generated using artificial intelligence based on the content you submit. Please understand:

  • AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or not perfectly suited to your situation. Always review any score, rewritten resume, or cover letter before relying on it or sending it to an employer.
  • An ATS score is an estimate based on patterns in your CV and the job description you provided — it is not a guarantee of how any specific employer's actual hiring system, or any human recruiter, will evaluate you.
  • Ceedr does not guarantee that using the Services will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome.
  • You are solely responsible for the final content of anything you submit to an employer, whether AI-generated, edited by you, or unchanged from what we produced.

8. ACCEPTABLE USE

When using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or data
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Services beyond normal use, or to extract data at scale
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models behind the Services
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to manipulate our AI systems, including via prompt injection or similar techniques intended to bypass their intended behavior
  • Upload content containing malware, or content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services without our prior written consent

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

9. OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Ceedr's name, logo, website, design, and underlying software are our property (or that of our licensors) and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding or intellectual property except as necessary to use the Services as intended.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Services rely on third-party providers, including AI model providers, payment processors, and infrastructure/hosting providers, as described in our Privacy Notice. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties, though we select them with reasonable care.

11. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@useceedr.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the referral program, engaged in fraudulent payment activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, including discontinuing the Services generally.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ceedr and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold Ceedr harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. 16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
