REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Last updated July 10, 2026

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Ceedr's paid plans. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use.

1. NO REFUNDS ONCE PAYMENT IS PROCESSED

Once a payment for a Weekly or Monthly plan has been successfully charged, that payment is final. We do not offer refunds, partial or full, for any reason, including if you stop using the Services before your paid period ends, or if you are unsatisfied with your results.

This applies regardless of how much of your paid period you actually used.

2. FREE ACCESS PERIODS ARE NOT REFUNDS

From time to time, and through specific partnerships or promotions, we may offer a free period (for example, one week) before your card is charged for the first time. This is different from a refund:

  • A free access period means no payment has been taken yet. If you cancel before that free period ends, your card is never charged, and there is nothing to refund.
  • A refund would mean returning money already paid. We do not do this (see Section 1 above).

Free access periods are offered at our discretion, are not available to all users, and are not guaranteed with every signup. Where one is offered, the specific terms (length, eligibility) will be made clear to you before you start it.

3. CANCELLING BEFORE YOU ARE CHARGED

If you are in a free access period, you can cancel at any point before that period ends to avoid being charged entirely. Once cancelled in this way, your card will not be billed, and your access will end when the free period expires (or immediately, depending on how you cancel).

4. CANCELLING A PAID SUBSCRIPTION

You can cancel your Weekly or Monthly plan at any time. When you cancel:

  • Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • You will not be charged again after that period ends.
  • You will not receive a refund for the remaining, unused portion of your current period.

Your account and any saved reports, resumes, or cover letters are not deleted when your plan expires — you simply return to the Free tier's limits until you renew.

5. HOW TO CANCEL

You can cancel your subscription from your account settings [PLACEHOLDER — link/path to the cancellation control once the account settings page exists], or by emailing us at contact@useceedr.com and we will process the cancellation on your behalf.

6. FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

If a renewal payment fails or is declined, we may retry the charge, and your access to paid features may be paused until payment succeeds or you cancel. We are not responsible for any access interruption caused by a failed payment on your end (for example, an expired card or insufficient funds).

7. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

While our standard policy is no refunds, we may, at our sole discretion, make an exception in cases such as a proven duplicate charge or a technical billing error on our part. Requests of this kind can be sent to contact@useceedr.com. Making an exception in one case does not obligate us to do so in any other case.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
